WVMP Radio - The Lifeblood of Rock 'n Roll!

WVMP is the only radio station with real vampires, who know their musical era inside and out because they were born and raised in it.
Because they live it today.

Ciara Griffin is a con artist paying her way through college with her cons. Now however, she's trying to put that reputation behind her and start working a real job, and lands a job at a local radio station as a marketing intern. WMMP is floundering and Skywave, a giant communications company is trying to buy them out. WMMP has an eclectic late night lineup, covering each decade for about the 1940s/50s through the 90s (wich DJ's who are each expert in their chosden genre) and Ciara is in for a shock when she learns the secret behind the station. The DJs are all vampires, permanently stuck in the years in which they were turned.

Ciara has a brilliant marketing concept - revamp the station, changing the name to WVMP "The Lifeblood of Rock and Roll and have the vampires hide in plain sight, telling everyone they are vampires, exploiting the fang factor (which no listener takes seriously) for profit. It works, until an ancient vampire cult decides it is endangering their way of life and wants to eradicate the threat. Also playing in is The Control, an equally ancient paramilitary group created to protect good vampires and kill bad ones. The author's musical references are dead on, and the story is a fun read, with a different take on vampires.

And there's a website for the radiostation where you can listen to their playlists!
