really liked it

I enjoyed this a lot - it seems at first like it's going to be less personal/emotionally engaging for Sarah than the first book, but the interpersonal issues that come up between her and her aunt, and between her and Sir Walter, provide the personal component. I also like the continued use of noir tropes and the meditation on justice being served even if the law wasn't.
