Damn. I really wanted to like this one. It seemed to be right up my alley, but I couldn't get into it. I didn't care for the heroine or her voice and it sort of lost me from there. I've heard great things about this story and it's been recommended time and time again, so I'm chalking it up to it being a 'me' problem rather than a problem with the book.

Bummer! I love this series. The H is a mega alphahole for the first couple of books, and there is a whole lot more going on with the h than there initially appears, but it develops over a longer time, so if you couldn't get into the first one, then it probably won't work for a longer reveal.

I really do think it was just a problem with my mind set at the time that I started the book. Things change and I've seen amazing reviews for it so...
