it was ok
bookshelves: biography

I read half of it. Couldn't finish. In that half, this book had nothing good to offer me. Neither the stories nor the way they are presented were interesting to me. I really like some of Bulgakov's other works but this one was just too simple. The stories couldn't keep me interested to the end. I guess some of it is just bad translation's fault.
The book is mostly about the struggles of a young doctor with the ignorant vast majority. The narration is very detailed about the cases and the narrator's feeling and that at some points is the main reason the book can bore you.
