Another great book in the In Death series. I'm just floored how this series can be so consistent.

This time around we've got murder on the stage and all the pieces are coming together like an Agatha Christie book, which is no surprise, since it's her story being told on stage while Roarke and Eve watch, to everyone's surprise, the lead actually get stabbed with a real knife instead of a prop.

Eve's solving it and getting pissed off, and Roarke is there to take care and watch over, and he's tangled in the whole thing since it's his place where the murder took place, as usual. This is bound to happen when you own most of New York.

McNabb and Peabody have me rooting just as hard and I just wish there was more of them on stage, rather than backstage.
