really liked it

Here we go:

Plot: 4 stars -- I read these as one cluster (all the brothers together), and the plots are very similar in a couple of ways: 1) they all start out with a conflict of some sort, and 2) they all end with another conflict of some sort. So far, I like the original conflicts and find them realistic and nicely resolved (for the most part). But for the 2nd ... not so much. In this case, the main conflict was strong enough that I could overlook the absolute ridiculousness of the second one. Grady has been in love with Eli for years; his other good friend, Rome, has been in love with Grady for just as long. At Grady's birthday party (32), Eli shows up with a fiance, and Rome steps in to keep Eli from 'winning' (yes, Eli knows that Grady has a crush on him) by pretending he and Grady are together. It's an interesting (and soap-opera-y) set-up, and it worked for me. The second conflict was just silly ((view spoiler)
