I loved this book almost as much as I loved the precursor, 12 Rules for Life. Peterson has a unique way of blending mythology, religion, and common experience to pull out nuggets of truth that seem clearly obvious upon further inspection.

I finished with an enormous amount of quotes and highlights. My favorite rules included:

- Do not hide unwanted things in the fog
- Work as hard as you possibly can on at least one thing and see what happens
- Be grateful in spite of your suffering

My favorite quote:

> It appears that the meaning that most effectively sustains life is to be found in the adoption of responsibility.
