Susan ohh, this is a good book, Tamra. I read it when I was about 17 and really enjoyed it. It was hard to put down sometimes, especially when I had to put it down to go do homework!

Tamra I'm excited to read this one. ... When I read Beyond the River (an underground railroad history book centered on Rev. John Rankin and Ripley, OH--it's FANTASTIC), Rob's mom said (several times), "Oh, I've read that boook. It's about the woman who got captured by Indians..." And about then I'd stop her and say that she was thinking of a different book.

And someone ELSE said, "This is about Mary Ingalls Wilder who wrote Little House on the Prairie." I told that person I thought that highly improbable. Looked it up later. Mary Ingles of Follow the RIver lived about a hundred years before Mary Ingalls Wilder the author. And the last names are spelled differently, so they're not even from the same family.

Anyways. It seems like it'll be a good book to read, details aside.
