it was amazing
bookshelves: graphicnovels, classicalworld

A stand-alone Wonder Woman/Batman story that connects 20th century superheroes to the storytelling of the classical world. A young urban fugitive asks for refuge with Diana of the Amazons, using the words of an ancient Greek ritual. Can Diana balance the competing Greek values of loyalty and vengeance? Great depth for Diana and nice use of Batman make this one of DC's most effective superhero standalone stories.
