Review of an advance copy:

I was on a plane to Chicago and pulled this book out to read. It seemed a bit familiar, so I started skimming to see how far I might have previously read. And then I remembered I had already read the entire book on a flight back from Phoenix. It is kind of sad that I didn't even recall reading it. Perhaps the book is not intensely memorable?! It has some good moments nearer the end, but the beginning is not super exciting. However, the premise reminds me quite a bit of Margaret Peterson Haddix's Missing series with time travel and disruptions to space time, and I have quite enjoyed those books, so I have hopes for this series, too. In the same vein as The 39 Clues, this will be a multi-author collaboration with books spaced closely enough to hold readers' interest.
