I have enjoyed the character and flew through this book as I did the previous but...I don't know Odd seems a little snarkier than before, still humble but the quips and asides are fast and loose. The best part of the character maybe but at times too much in this book. The story is weird but that has been the direction of the series. Odd goes to some very dark places and that bothered me more than a little. Annamaria has a role in this book but her story is not really advanced and the hints about who she is or who she represents still elude Odd though they seem to represent an obvious direction to me. Of course I am probably wrong about that. Overall I enjoyed the book just not as much as some of the others.
