This was an informative book, in the sense that it presents a lot of information about the roots and evolution of feminism in the United States. What was missing for me, though, was a clear argument to fulfill the expectations created by the subtitle. I appreciated the personal anecdotes that were sprinkled throughout, but I wanted many more of them and a much clearer connection between those and the more academic parts of the text.
