Savage Hearts (Rebel Hearts Book 2)

Whoa... This was the conclusion to what I read in Rebel Hearts and there were some unexpected moments.
Seriously, I did not expect the author to go there, but she did and I'm glad!
Samantha believes she's broken and the only thing that might help her get back to the woman she was, the woman who deserves Danny, is a mighty dose of vengeance. And I'm here for it!!
What she didn't count on was Danny also having hatched a revenge plot of his own. He wants his woman back. He wants the men who hurt her to die horrible deaths. I can't blame the guy and I'm here cheering him on!!
Was some of the plot repetitive? Yes
Was I able to predict pretty much everything that happened? Sure
But who cares???
I enjoyed this one a hell of a lot more than the first book. It probably had a lot to do with the fact that there wasn't any of that horrible time jumping from present to past and back again. Danny easily stole parts of my heart from book one and he kept on taking all of the pieces of it in this one.
I do have to mention that there was a scene where Danny almost lost one of his virginities that had me on the edge of my freaking seat! Where was all of this descriptiveness in the rest of the story? Everything else was told under a cloud, with a veil of shadows, but that scene was crystal clear. Go figure.
