Have to say, her heroes really are not alpha. They seem definitely dominated by their female kin most of the time, and I like my men of the more alpha variety. I enjoyed Meg and Parks in the previous book, and they were alright in this as well, although I couldn’t understand Meg’s motivations. She just acted like a bit of an idiot most of the book, and for a smart lady that seemed out of character. I guess perhaps the moral of SM’s books is that love turns you into an idiot?? Not sure. Still, light, entertaining reading if you don’t analyse it or expect too much of it
