really liked it
bookshelves: mysteries, mysteries-international, mysteries-translations, mysteries-police-pi-forensics

I discovered Kurt Wallander first through the Swedish movie and TV versions of Mankell's books and it was a treat to read one of the original books. Faceless Killers originally written in the early 90s is still timely not just as a police procedural but also in the problems of immigration and assimilation.
