it was amazing

Here we go:

Plot: 4.5 stars -- I really enjoyed this, just as I did the previous book of Bauer's I read. Although there were many characters, I was able to follow along enough, and I liked the twists and turns along the way.

Main characters: 4.5 stars -- I thought both Jack and Ethan were well done, and I enjoyed moving between their POVs. And I felt like Jack's sexual journey was realistically portrayed, as well. (view spoiler) The other characters who had a voice were intriguing, as well.

Smut Level: Good -- there weren't a ton of sex scenes (yay), and only one was lengthy, and it felt appropriate for the story.

Romance: 4.5 stars -- this was very sweet, and I thought Bauer portrayed the growth of their relationship well.

World/Setting: 5 stars -- this was very intriguing and engaging (I'd read elsewhere it was akin to Jack Ryan, and I'd have to agree).

Overall: 5 stars (rounded up)

I will definitely be continuing this series. :)
