My goodness... what a pleasure this was to read. The way Chris Brady writes literally transports your mind to Italy as you experience a month with him and his family. I especially enjoy the way that he uses his experience away as a way to encourage others to make the same sort of voyage. To take a month or more to be off the grid, to seek out restoration of mind, body, and soul, is a worthy aim in itself, let alone the experience of enjoying another culture and making new friends.

At the end of the book, Brady express how hard it was to tell people how his month off was, so instead of telling them the same old lines, he went back to Italy to write it all down, and it was even better the second time...
