This was OK - a good light read but it is readily apparent that it is really a collection of the author's short articles in other publications. At least it seems apparent to me! There's nothing wrong with this but the same story sometimes comes up more than once and there is really no continuity in the chapters, they seem arbitrarily labelled terminals 1 to 10 with no real linking theme to any ot them.

What follows is somewhat rambling, occassionally interesting and sometimes amusing. The author writes well for his chosen format but the overall effect is disperate and vaguely unsatisfying. Whenever he addressed a topic of interest the format is superficial and forces you to move on without getting to any more depth.
