it was amazing
bookshelves: sci-fifantasy

A lone volume that features the same universe as Miles Vorkosigan 200 years before he's born. In this, we are introduces to Leo Graf, an engineer sent to a exclusive space installation by a station reassignment. There he meets the Quaddied, humans altered to have four arms so as to live and work easily in free fall. Only Graf seems unsettled by the fact that the Quaddies are mere children with no knowledge of their rights as humans and that Galactech corporation as no reason to think of them as anything other than property to be used or disposed as economy requires.
