This is the first book of A Quilting Mystery series, a popular hobby today. It is foremost a mystery with some romance to boot. Dewey has just inherited her mother's quilting business, Quilter Paradiso. Dewey is a technie with no interest in the family business. The situation is complicated by the inexperienced Dewey now supervising her sister-in-law in a business her SIL would love to have inherited or manage. At one of the largest quilting expos, Claire Armstrong (famous to quilters) asks Dewey to meet with her to buy her mother's business. Hours later she is found dead in her hotel room with a rotary cutter. The investigating cop is a family friend of Dewey's and romance ensues. How can a cop investigate a case in which his girl friend is a possible suspect??? Multiple murders, multiple suspects and intesting characters. A fast moving mystery with a surpise ending.
