it was amazing

I devoured this book. I can't remember where I saw a recommendation for this--Dear Authoer, perhaps?--but it looked intriguing. And it was. The two main characters--Noah and Echo--were both interesting, fully-developed, and had their own issues and history which ended up making them perfect for each other. I really liked that all of the characters, including the secondary ones, were presented as layered. No one was all good, or all bad, and they often had reasons for why they behaved the way they did that a reader could sympathize with once the whole story was known. I also loved that Noah and Echo both grew tremendously through-out the story and became stronger people by the end. I even teared up a bit near the end--and I am sooooo not a crier. I highly recommend this book and will definitely be looking for more of Ms. McGarry's books.
