it was amazing

Daisy Purbright nine years old, mother Florence pops Nicolas and brothers Bobby ten years old and Matt seventeen years old live in the Isle of Dogs London. Daisy is truly spoiled as been the only daughter Her Pops treasure is sure one day will see her in the house for womens rights like Mrs Pankhurst. The year is 1938 and rumours of war are already starting and Matt is eager to join up in the RAF but mother wants him to follow in the family business in the dockland factory electrical engineering run by his pops and uncle Ed.
Now living in Poplar Park row they miss the countryside in Wallcombe where they use to live.
1939 tells a different story that Daisy holds a big secret about her aunt Betty and it will hurt her uncle Ed.
What such a delight this book is to read.
The evacuation back to Wallcombe to stay with Aunt Pat and Grandma was not easy for her and Bobby but they would remain safer there than in London a warzone city.
By 1941 Daisy and her family has been through so much it will make you shed a tear so tissues are a must.
A girl with Secrets is such an inspirational story right from start to finish that will bring so much Joy to readers, a must read right till the end, that I so adored page after page.
