Read in sixth grade or so, I remember originally being taken with this book because of the title. I enjoyed the story very much (I don't remember any particulars about the writing, though). To a middle-school-age reader, is there anything cooler than the idea of running away from home and providing for yourself just fine by hiding out in a museum? Good fun. I also remember the mystery and conclusion being satisfying. However, I probably won't read it again as an adult unless doing so with my children.

Amy I remember this book and I loved it. This would be a good one for my daughter. Thanks for the reminder. She is an avid reader and I am trying to keep up with the good books for her.
