Cute variation of the swan princess. Doucette has always been jealous of her sisters magical powers and swan skins (allow the wearer to transform into a bird). When she discovers her own swan skin, hidden away by her mother, she uses it to escape the life she has never loved. I liked the story, sometimes it wasn't very cohesive and would jump abruptly from scene to scene. One thing that was kind of frustrating throughout the story, Doucette is the cause of her own unhappiness, and many of her struggles were needless and almost put in the story just to make it longer.
