really liked it

This was an exciting read and definitely serves an an introduction to the rest of the story I should expect to unfold in this High Republic era of Star Wars. I am still struggling to see the Nihil as the imposing force the writers are intending, but am hoping as things progress, it becomes more clear. Additionally, it was exciting to see the Jedi in the height of their power with the Force, but I’m concerned the writers are taking too many liberties with the Force and moving it to a level of mysticism of which I don’t agree. As an introduction, the climax of this book was a little lackluster, serving more as a pilot to a new show than a stand alone book. Overall really enjoyed it and the Star Wars audiobooks are hard to beat when it comes to the production quality and performance. Looking forward to the next read
