really liked it
bookshelves: historicals

I always read the back cover or inside flap of books to get the main idea of the book. I must say with this book, for the first time ever, I want to find this books editor and shake them and ask if they even really read the book. Even though some of what is on the back is the synopsis for the story, there are major details that are wrong. I thought the editor's job was to edit the book, but it seems this day in age they are just getting paid to spit out books. Really, why are publishers wasting their money on editors, when they don't even edit enough of a book to know what it is about??
As to the story itself, loved it. I felt for the hero and longed to visit his Nantucket home. And as a baker myself, I am quite curious as to what Quimby Cremes might taste like.
The story is a soft sweet romance that takes time to develop and blossom.
Once again I must rant and say shame on the editor......
