Amazing story! Kind of felt like a vampire, hunger games, game of thrones vibe. The twist I didn't not see coming at all. She hits you with one that you kinda see coming but then the other is bam holy crap.
The only thing I wish was different was the ending. She made this strong beautiful character, Mare. I would have loved to see her become the Red Queen. Her grabbing the crown after being in the Arena and placing it on her head and siting on the throne with Cal by her side. And giving hope to all the reds that there will be unity.
Looking forward to reading the next book.
