Everyone knows I love teen lit. I cant help it. With that said and even with its pro life adgenda and fairy tale ending this didn't suck. I could see my self forcing this on my daughter in ten years.

Maybe I was lucky with the accurate and in depth sex Ed. I received as a teen, but they 'facts' Maya was given at the clinic...really?!? Do clinics do that? I've never had an experience like that. I assume that this was based on true events and not just the author trying to make abortions clinic out to be evil. Either way, it was shocking and poignant. This story was hard to put down.

Honestly, there could have been less drama. It reminded me of a teen lit version on a Wally Lamb book. (I.e. columbine shooting then wife popping pills and then DUI car accident and then wife in prison and then katrina.... You know, over the top!)
