bookshelves: colors, seasons

This story uses the colors of the leaves to describe fall in a simple way. The changes of the colors on the pages is very inviting to young children. I would use this book for the fall season. By showing the children and explaining how the colors of the leaves and trees change.
To further help show them the change of the season, we could go outside and collect things that only are seen in the fall and discuss why they are only seen in the fall and not other seasons. We could also discuss different animals and what they do for the fall season to prepare for the next season.
