really liked it
bookshelves: whisky-charlie-foxtrot

I enjoyed this book so much. It is funny, engaging, and very perceptive about human relationships.

The dialogue really crackles and the structure is an effective way of maintaining pace over a long time period.

Emma Morley is a wonderful loveable character and Dexter is somehow endearing despite his many faults. His spectacular demise is simultaneously painful and funny.

A warm-hearted and thoroughly enjoyable book.
