I came across this series while I was looking for a different book in a used book store. I looked up the series and decided to read the first book. Wow, what an excellent start to the series. It is definitely a cozy mystery compared to some of the other mystery authors that I like to read. I loved learning the different things about tea. The recipes at the back of the book are a bonus as well. I think that the particular points that really drew me into the story and the book are that it is set in Charleston, South Carolina (I've personally never been there, but would like to go) and I also liked that Drayton went to Johnson & Wales (my alma mater). Great mystery and it kept me guessing throughout while Theo was doing her investigating. I also like that the poison that was used was Aconite...

Lady Belinda I'd have to drink Darjeeling while I'm reading it and I don't have any of that kind.
