Recommended for: people who like very uncomplicated historical fiction

Don't read this book if you're looking for earth-shattering, pulitzer prize-winning, transcendental literature. It is never going to be on your shelf next to Rilke. It is not going to be the book that changes your life and the way you look at the world. It is simply an entertaining story-a good yarn.
