really liked it

Although this book has every bit of intrigue, action and excitement as The Knife of Never Letting Go, I think that I'm not rating it as highly because of the audio. I really disliked the female in the audio, and found it confusing when her voice would read the part of the mayor in the same voice that she used for the mistress that she dislikes so much. I actually found the audio of The Knife of Never Letting Go, which used only a male voice a hundred times better.
OK - that aside, I liked this book and it kept me going as I was cleaning. I do miss Todd's dog, though. He was such a great character and wonderful voice in the story. I keep hoping he will bound out of the woods, not really having been killed by the evil preacher in the first book. Guess that's not going to happen.
