really liked it

I was/am a huge fan of Amy Winehouse, not her personal life, but her voice . . what a voice. I was sad when she passed, but not surprised. Addiction has taken so many before their time. This book seemed like a way for her Dad to clarify how things went down once Amy met Blake and started her downward spiral with addiction. Even though she had been (illegal) drug-free for 3 years before her death, alcohol was still her downfall. The book felt a little rushed, but there were so many details to fit in. No parent should have to watch their child slowly destroy themselves and I can't imagine burying a child, no matter their age. There is now an Amy Winehouse Foundation to help those battling addiction and I hope they are able to help many.
