really liked it

I got hooked on Michael Connelly from my mom's bookshelves when I was probably too young to read them. He's one of the only realistic fiction mystery/thriller writer's I'll read (along with Janet Evanovich and the occasional suprise). Harry Bosch was not the main character of this novel, but it for many others, and for the sequel to "The Lincoln Lawyer". I read this, basically so I could get to the sequel because I adore Bosch.

This novel did not disapoint and I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. Connelly writes fast paced, intelligent, and brutal crime thrillers. But he is highly rooted on planet earth and in the actual processes of the American judicial system.

You won't enjoy it if the above doesn't sound appealing. If you enjoy the likes of Cornwell, Crighton, Or Ghrisom, or Patterson . . .I'd suggest Connelly.
