really liked it
bookshelves: american-recent

Bicycles and Hipsters and a bit of absurdism rolled into a book. I really wasn't expecting to like this book as much as I did... my guess is it's because of all the hipsters I deal with on a daily basis.

Brixton If hipsters are growing on you, Joseph, I WILL come down there and stage an intervention. Plus, anyone dressed like that doesn't really ride a bike. :oP

Joseph I think it is more of the book's accurate portrayal of hipsters...especially when it comes to "art" and "artists". But, not to worry I am pretty hipster proof ; )

Brixton I just recommended Woodcutters to you-- most accurate portrayal of "art" and "artists" I've ever read. This guy nails how soulless and boring they truly are. It's funny too cuz it looks just like Nausea when you open it up (narrow margins, no paragraphs).

Joseph Thanks. I will order it on my next Alibris order.
