Witty, funny, chick lit. Takes place in New England, and characters also travel to Sequim, Washington. By the author of Must Love Dogs; a woman of a certain age takes a buyout following her company's merger. Her boyfriend dumps her by cutting her off electronically. She has no hobbies, and no interests outside work, which leaves her stunned and depressed when she realizes this. She quickly finds two other women in the neighborhood who share her goal to start getting fit by walking, and they have some funny, and sometimes sad adventures. The heroine, Noreen, learns to do a bit of gardening, which she finds very therapeutic. All in all a nice little book, light and fun.
