For a chick-lit book, it was pretty good. I enjoyed it through the last chapter. I liked the narration point of view, though their were times I wanted to yell at Gemma and say "Stop looking at trees and see the forest!!"

I enjoyed the bulk of the story - it was a quick pace, enough filler to keep interest but not so much to be boggy. Despite Gemma being slow on the uptake, Vlad's fortune telling was a good touch, including the pregnancy and "movie" twists. However, the ending was the letdown. The end of the "original" story just seemed rushed, and the epilogue tied up too many ends almost "too" neatly. I also wasn't a huge fan of how after having the reader invest in Gemma's fussing so much about having enough business, in the end she just basically walked away? It just seemed a total 180 in character.
