This wasn't my favorite of this author's books (An Unwanted Guest, which I read last January is still the one I like best), but I enjoyed the twists and turns and the fact that like me, the main character is the mom of infant twins. I was a little nervous to read a thriller involving children, but the babies are really secondary to the plot, which is more about the protagonist's marriage and the secrets that come out when a woman from the past blackmails her husband. I didn't love the ending, which was ominous, but not as satisfyingly so as the ambiguous endings of the author's other titles. Overall, it was an entertaining and quick read.
