it was amazing

This was an engrossing read from start to finish. Being a bit of a political junkie, as well as knowing many people from totalitarian and war torn lands, the book read true, obvious that Collins understands the dynamics of political manipulation. But beyond that her characterizations from Katniss the heroin, Ru, Peeta, Haymitch and others are engrossing. They leap off the page and stayed with me after the book was closed. What more could a reader want? Happily reading the sequel.
