it was amazing
bookshelves: fiction, part-of-a-series, fantasy, paranormal-romance, i-own-a-copy, young-adult

I absolutely loved this story. It's so unusual and different to any book I've read before. I also really loved that the author invented the characters and events based on real vintage photos of real, unknown people, and those photos are littered all throughout the book. It's really cool and unique.
The whole story is mysterious and magical, the characters are well developed and there's never a dull moment. I'm so glad it's going to be a series and can't wait to see what happens next, as this book is left open with lots of unanswered questions for book two.
It's also set to become a movie too, which is really cool.
