I seem to have no resistance to a book series, especially if the supporting characters are interesting. The close connection of the families in this story continue to fan the sparks of interest. Set in a small town in the blue ridge mountains, the story follows the life of a few families as they plod through their everyday lives, setting their goal of restoring an old Inn to its former beauty.

Now that I've read two of Nora's books, I'd call them gentle, slow love stories. There is no real pinnacle of drama, just a meandering evolution of a love story between the characters. Sitting in my favorite leather chair, as the rain pattered on my metal roof, I whiled away a Saturday reading this story. I finished it at three in the morning. No one can say I'm a quitter. My husband might say more like obsessive to the end, whether I'm reading or writing my own novels.

There's one more book, and one more brother, the most complex in my opinion yet to be revealed. Guess I better get started!
