This book was absolutely beautiful and I realized that at the end as soon as I finished the book. I was so surprised in a way by how creative Chris Colfer was with writing this book. To quickly sum it up, the book is about two twins who grew up reading fairytales. A book was handed down to them by their grandmother and the book comes to life. The fairytales that we originally know of are extended and have different endings. The reason why I gave this book four stars was because at some points in the book I felt it was getting a bit slow. But then it would pick up the pace and get interesting again. There are very few parts like that and sometimes I also wished the author would get to the point already. If something important was about to happen the author would anticipate it for a while and then it would happen. The story line was absolutely amazing and I was so interested in this book every time I sat down to read it. I really would recommend this book for children 10 years and older because of the length and somewhat because of the vocabulary but otherwise it was very interesting. Congrats to Chris Colfer for doing so well on his first novel. :D
