really liked it
bookshelves: fantasy-science-fiction, picture-books

This book started off interesting enough and was actually a bit predictable. A little girl launches vegetable seedlings to see the effects of extraterrestrial conditions. Then on June 29 people start discovering giant vegetables. Eventually the girl realizes there are vegetables she didn't launch. In the end we learn a cook from the ionosphere has actually spilled vegetables out in space. It was a fun read.
