It took me a little while to get into this book. I was a little confused about the world in which the book is set. A little more clarification concerning humans and demons would have been nice. There were some explanations later in the book but by the time things were explained, I had already painfully pieced things together on my own. However, I did enjoy reading this story. I enjoyed seeing the story unfold.
I do have one final complaint. I hated the ending of the book. To me, it did not feel like an ending. It felt chopped off . Not sure if I will read the next book. If it were free, I possibly would but its not so I don't know...
I feel the need to add that reading the description of the book does help clarify a few things before reading the book. However, for the most part, I like going into a book blind - not reading the description before reading the book. That way, I avoid any and all spoilers.
