it was amazing

I completely understand how people can say I'm biased for being a great fan of Chris' for quite sometime. That aside, I can honestly say this story captured me. It holds all the fairy tales we grew up listening to, but adds some twists that are so welcome and keep the story interesting. Granted, it's not for my age group, I still absolutely loved it. It was nice to go back to things I miss from my childhood. Having the stories retold and the characters more rounded beyond their fatal flaws we read about as children was so refreshing. Colfer's style was an interesting change from what I've read in the past, and a great reflection of his own personality. It's clever and witty, something that helped move the story along. I don't want to spoil anything so I'll stop here and say it was a nostalgic but so enjoyable read. Loved every part of it.
