To be honest, I wasn't in love with the plot line this time around. I was never so invested in the story that I couldn't put it down, but the last third or so of the book was more exciting and helped make up for a lackluster first half.

A few things I love:

"sometimes forgiveness is overrated". Let's just say Angel has some fun with a not nice person. Revenge can be so satisfying ;)

Angel is not stupid about her relationship with Marcus. She recognizes the issues and doesn't ignore them. Amazing when a character does that!

Derrel is a flippin' fantastic friend to have on your side. I want to give him a big hug.

"Zombie Super Powers, activate, you f*cking b!tches." - I adore Angel and her potty mouth.

All in all, fun times. 3.5 stars.
