Took me about 50 pages to get into this one, due to the use of the second person narrative for three main characters and the use of jargon. This is only the second book I've ever read that's written in second person, and my brain wants to argue with the "You are walking down the street..." stuff {"No, I'm NOT!"}. I suspect it was written that way to further the RPG theme. I'm not a gamer or a computer science person, so I had a little trouble in places wading through the jargon. But, once the plot grabbed hold of me, it became much easier. The main characters--Sue, Elaine, and Jack--were all interesting. The book is full of clever dialogue and turns of phrase, as well as sarcastic humour. The conclusion felt a little rushed, but overall it's a rather good book.
