it was amazing
bookshelves: location-interesting, historical, favorites
Read in August, 2012 — I own a copy

1- Not your usual romance, but romance it has in spades
2- Despite the setting, there is a HEA
3- Rare book about WWII with German MC's
4- Fascinating look at the end of the war from another perspective

This story works because it is so very well written. The reader is pulled into this story and taken on a unique journey.

Thank you Mr. Voinov for sharing this unique and powerful story.

11/25/2012 "Love the way it starts--
"Love soars" is name of the first chapter. It is contrasted with the fall of the world around them at the end of the war and the difficulty of love."
11/25/2012 "Ooops! Not first chapter-- Preface. Now I am so ready to start this story!"
