really liked it
Read from July 16 to 21, 2012

I'd give this book 5 stars because it was just that amazing, but there was way to much sex going on in this book. If I wanted to read about that, I would've picked up the ever popular "50 Shades..." Asides from that, I have very little to complain about. This novel's narrator was compared to Nick Carraway from "The Great Gatsby" and not only would I compare the narrator in this book to that book, I would compare this entire book to "The Great Gatsby". Set in the ever popular Hamptons on Eastern Long Island (the Long Island setting was the same in Gatsby but a little farther West), this book had many of the same elements. The rich enacting with the rich, the poor wishing they could be wealthy. There were many similarities including the tragic downfall of some of the characters. I don't want to spoil to much, but I think everyone should read this when it hits shelves in February.
